Installation for Domestic Water Filtration Systems
The installation for a water filtration system takes ~30 minutes depending from your setup. In case that extra supplies are needed to install the system we will inform you about the reason and the additional cost on site.
The installation service for Limassol area can be arranged by adding it to your cart when you order the systems or by contacting us.
We can also arrange the installation of your system when we drop by to deliver the water filtration system you ordered.
Options:
- Classic Water System: Any water system without a reverse osmosis membrane (e.g. Prio M400, Excito-B, etc.).
- R.O Water System: Any water system that has a reverse osmosis membrane (e.g. Prio MO580, MO530, THIN10, etc.)
- Blending Valve Adjustment: This option can be selected if your R.O water system already has a blending valve installed and needs to be re-adjusted to your desired TDS range.
- + Faucet: This option can be selected if you require the installation of an additional faucet for your purified water into your kitchen sink .
- + Blending valve: By installing a blending valve into your R.O water system, the TDS levels (concentration of minerals) of your filtered water can be adjusted to your desired value. A TDS value between 50-150 ppm is recommended for an excellent quality drinking water (see below for more details).
TDS Blending Valve: Many times there is the desire to raise the total dissolved solids (TDS) of our filtered water. This is due to the fact that the purified water produced by the reverse osmosis water systems have usually a TDS value of ~25-35 ppm. For the best drinking water quality and personal well-being it is recommended that the TDS value should be ~50-150ppm. To achieve a TDS value in that range we use a TDS blending (mixing) valve. The set-up of the blending valve is recommended to be set by a specialist when installing the water purifier.
TDS blending is incredibly simple and involves mixing your filtered water (water filtered by the first two pre-filters: GAC and sediment) with the R.O water to achieve a TDS that's desirable to your needs and taste. Since the water system already includes the two pre-filters, the feed line between the pre-filter system and the R.O pump is tapped and as mentioned above the filtered water (not raw water), is mixed/blend with the purified R.O water in order to produce the desired TDS value.
