Replacement Cartridges (set of 4) for Aquafilter 4-Stage Water System (FP3)

This replacement filter set is suitable for the Aquafilter 4-stage drinking water system (FP3). It contains three drop-in filters that produce high quality water as they remove a significant amount of dirt and contaminants and an in-line 0.02 micron ultrafiltration (UF) membrane.
 
 
 
Functionality of each filter:
 
Filter 1 - 5 micron sediment filter FCPS5: Designed for pre-filtration of tap and general-use water prior to the main filtration process. Cartridge stops sand, rust particles, sediments and impurities carried by water, and is made of polypropylene strings wound in layers. Layer density increases towards the core of cartridge assuring excellent filtration results.
Filter 2 - Softening and iron reducing cartridge FCCST2: two-stage mechanism that helps to reduce the iron in the water and soften it (no limescale from the coffee maker or kettle). The softening filter cartridge lowers concentration of iron, reduces water hardness by exchanging ions of calcium and magnesium into ions of sodium.
Filter 3 - Granular Activated Carbon+ KDF® media cartridge FCCBKDF: three-stage, specialty filter cartridge made of activated carbon, KDF® filtration media and polypropylene fibers. Removes mechanical impurities (sand, rust, etc.), chlorine, organic substances, pesticides, phenol, benzene, hydrogen sulfide. It also lowers the concentration of heavy metals such as: mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic, etc. and neutralizes bacteria.
Filter 4 - 0.02 micron Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane TLCHF-2T: The UF membrane removes mechanical impurities such as rust, sand, silt, suspended solids and some bacteria and viruses.
